Terms of Use
Last updated 30 October 2026
1. About WorkBridge
WorkBridge ("we", "us") is a free website where clients post remote jobs and freelancers create a profile and apply. By creating an account or using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. Your account
- You must be 18 or older, or the legal age to work in your country.
- Give true information and keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- One person, one account. Making extra accounts to collect free bids is not allowed and we may remove those accounts and their bids.
3. What WorkBridge does and does not do
- We are not a party to any agreement between a client and a freelancer. Scope, price, deadlines and payment are agreed between the two of you.
- We do not hold, send or guarantee payments between clients and freelancers, and we do not settle disputes.
- We do not verify identities, skills, reviews or job offers. A job or profile appearing on the site is not an endorsement.
- We cannot promise that any job is genuine, that you will be hired, or that you will be paid.
4. Bids
- A bid is a credit used to apply to a job. Every new account gets 20 free bids.
- Each job shows how many bids it needs to apply. The number is set by the job's payment type and budget and cannot be changed by clients.
- Bids are used when you send an application. They are not returned if the client does not reply, picks someone else, or closes the job. If a job is removed by us as a scam or rule breach, we may give the bids back (see Refunds and support).
- Bids have no cash value, cannot be sold, transferred or exchanged for money, and are not a payment for work.
- Extra bids can be bought in packs. At the moment this is done by bank transfer and manual confirmation, as described on the Buy bids page and in the Refunds and support page.
- We may change the number of free bids, the bids needed per job and the pack prices. A change does not affect bids already in your account or packs you have already paid for.
5. Rules for everyone
Do not:
- post fake, misleading or illegal jobs, or jobs asking applicants to pay a fee, buy equipment, or send money to get hired;
- post adult content, hate, harassment or anything that breaks the law;
- ask for or share other people's private information without permission;
- send spam, copy-paste mass messages, or use bots or scripts;
- try to break, overload or get around the security of the site, or change your own bid balance.
6. Rules for clients
- Describe the work and budget honestly. Pay freelancers what you agreed.
- Genuine clients never charge applicants.
- The budget you enter is used to work out the bids needed. Entering a false budget to change the bid price is not allowed.
7. Rules for freelancers
- Describe your skills and experience honestly.
- Only apply when you can do the work. Do your own work and respect copyright.
8. Content you post
You keep ownership of what you post (jobs, profile, messages). You give us permission to display it on the site and to send your application and contact details to the client you applied to. You promise you have the right to post it.
9. Removing content and accounts
We may remove any job, profile or account, with or without notice, if we think it breaks these terms, looks like a scam, or puts people at risk. You can ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing work.bridgesite@gmail.com.
10. No guarantees and limit of responsibility
The site is provided "as is", free of charge. It may be slow, change, pause or be unavailable, and we cannot promise it will always work or be free of errors. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses from deals between users, unpaid work, scams, lost data, or downtime. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under the law that cannot be removed.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the new terms.
