Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
WorkBridge is a small online board run by an individual. For any privacy question or request, write to work.bridgesite@gmail.com.
2. What we collect

| Jobs you post and applications you send, including your message and bids used | To run the board. Open jobs are public. Applications are visible to you and to the owner of that job. |

We do not ask for your bank card number or national ID number on this site. Please do not put them in your profile, job posts or applications.
3. Who can see what
- Everyone: open jobs, and public profile fields of finished profiles (not your email, contact detail or bids).
- A client: the message, name, headline and contact detail you send when you apply to their job.
- You: your own profile, bids, jobs and applications.
- Us: we can access the database to run and protect the site.
Once a client has your contact detail, we cannot control what they do with it. Share only what you are comfortable sharing.
4. Services we use
The site runs on services from other companies, which process data for us: Supabase (database and login, hosted in the cloud), Cloudflare (website hosting), Google Fonts (fonts) and our email service. These providers have their own privacy policies and your data may be stored or processed in countries other than yours.
5. Cookies and local storage
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser stores a login session so you stay signed in. We do not run analytics at this time.
6. Keeping data
We keep your account, profile, jobs and applications while your account exists. If your account is deleted, your profile, jobs and applications are deleted too. Records of bids you bought (email, bids, amount, date) are kept for our accounts and may be kept after your account is deleted, with the link to your account removed.
7. Your choices
- You can edit your profile any time in your dashboard.
- To see, correct or delete your data or account, email work.bridgesite@gmail.com from your account email. We will reply as soon as we reasonably can.
- To remove your profile from the public list, email us and we will clear it or delete the account.
8. Security
Access to data is limited by database security rules, and your bid balance can only be changed by the server, not from your browser. No online service is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password you do not use elsewhere.
9. Children
WorkBridge is not meant for people under 18. If you think a child has made an account, tell us and we will remove it.
10. Changes
If we change this policy, the date at the top will change. If the changes are significant we will say so on the site.
